Orwell Parish Council says :
As you may be aware the National Trust Head Office has recently submitted a ‘deposit notice’ and map with Cambridge County Council showing which paths they regard as public footpaths under Section 31 (6) of the Highways Act 1980.
Many of the footpaths used regularly by our residents and those of neighbouring parishes are omitted as they are not official public rights of way.
