Shepreth School Trust

Shepreth School Trust (Charity No. 1062515)

Following the closure and subsequent sale of the Shepreth Primary School a charity called The Shepreth School Trust was set up in 1997 and endowed with a proportion of the sale proceeds by Cambridge County Council. These proceeds are invested in trust for the Charity and managed by the five Trustees.

The charity applies the income from the trust in the form of modest grants for the advancement of the education of the children of Shepreth and the schools they attend. Examples of the kinds of grants we make are: funds to help with a rail or bus season ticket, with stationery or books, with equipment and tools that might be needed including for vocational courses, or for help with travel. If the request relates to a Shepreth resident’s ongoing education and self-development we will consider it!
