Anthony Browne MP – one week to go to raise £10,000.00 for Ukraine

One week to go – can we raise £10,000?

On Saturday 26 March, I’ll be riding over 100km from London to Cambridge raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated. I remain proud of how South Cambridgeshire comes together in a crisis, as we have seen so often over the last few years.

Together, we have raised over £9,500 to go towards food, water, shelter, and medical assistance for Ukraine and those trapped in surrounding countries – match-funded by the UK Government that’s £19K going to help people who need it most.

But we can do more! In this last week before my cycle ride, I am targeting £10,000  taking donations to push that total even higher – 100% of the money goes to the DEC appeal.

All those impacted by this war need our support – I’ll be doing all I can inside Parliament and out to ensure they receive it.

I am fundraising for the Disasters Emergency Committee – an umbrella group of UK charities that coordinates collective appeals to provide emergency aid in situations such as this. More information can be found by clicking the links below.
