The works to change the level crossing gates on Meldreth Road for new gates with a longer downtime, of the same type as those installed a few years ago at the Station Road crossing, will be going ahead over December and the Christmas period.If the work causes you any problems then please report any unsafe or inconsiderate parking, or any other issues, to Network Rail by phoning their 24 hour number 03457 11 41 41. The Parish Council has been assured that this number is manned 24/7 and that any issues raised will be promptly dealt with by NR. If you do have to report anyone on this number we would be be grateful if you could let us know at the PC whether your call led to any resulting action.
