This month, my focus has been on moving ahead with some of our most pressing issues, including combatting the congestion charge, opposing the environmentally destructive CSET busway, and challenging the Combined Authority (CA) over their misleading claims. Following the big departmental shake-up, I’ve also been in the House of Commons Chamber fighting for local life sciences companies and grilling the Bank of England over interest rate rises. Thanks to all those who answered my first-ever Question of the Month. The results show that over 85% of you were against South Cambridgeshire District Council’s building plans – something I shall take forward in my campaign to save South Cambridgeshire’s water supplies from bulldozers and concrete mixers.
